7 window blinds hacks that will make your life easier!

Window blinds can be a great addition to any window, but they can also be a pain to work with. If you’re looking for ways to make your life easier when dealing with window blinds, check out these seven hacks:

1. Use a broomstick to help you raise and lower window blinds. If you don’t have someone to help you, or if you just want to do it yourself, a broomstick can be a great way to get the job done. Simply slide the broomstick through the slots on the window blinds and use it as a lever to raise and lower them.

2. Cut off the bottom of a soda bottle to create a makeshift dustpan for cleaning your window blinds. When the dirt and dust start to build upon your window blinds, it can be a pain to clean them off. But with this hack, all you need is a soda bottle and a pair of scissors. Cut off the bottom of the soda bottle and use it as a makeshift dustpan to quickly and easily clean your window blinds.

3. Put window blinds on a timer. If you have window blinds that let in a lot of light, putting them on a timer can be a great way to save energy (and money!). You can either set them to turn on or off at specific times throughout the day, or have them automatically adjust based on the amount of natural light in the room.

4. Hang window blinds with Command hooks. If you don’t want to put any holes in your walls, or if you’re renting and don’t want to damage the walls, Command hooks can be a great solution. Simply attach a couple of Command hooks to the window frame and hang your window blinds on them.

5. Use a tension rod to hold window blinds open. If you have window blinds that you want to leave open but still keep the light out, a tension rod can be a great solution. Just place the tension rod between the window sill and the window blinds and they’ll stay in place.

6. Put window blinds on a pulley system. If you have multiple windows with window blinds, putting them on a pulley system can be a great way to make life a little easier. With a pulley system, you can easily adjust the window blinds on each window without having to get up from your seat.

7. Put window blinds on a track. If you want to be able to move your window blinds from one window to another, putting them on a track can be the perfect solution. You can either buy a window blinds track or make your own using some PVC pipe and connectors.
